Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use openwise.tech, the Openwise accessibility widget, the scanner and the dashboard (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
1. Your account
- You must give a real email address and keep your password and two-factor codes safe.
- You are responsible for everything done with your account.
- You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
2. Using the Service
You may add the widget to websites you own or manage. You must not:
- scan, attack or overload websites you don't have permission to test;
- try to break, reverse engineer or get around the Service's security or limits;
- use the Service for anything illegal, harmful or deceptive;
- resell the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
3. Plans and payment
- The Free plan is free. Paid plans (Pro and Agency) are billed monthly at the price shown on our pricing page when you buy.
- All prices are in US dollars. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders. These subscriptions renew every month until you cancel; you can cancel any time from the link in your Paddle receipt email, and the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Prices may change. We will tell you by email at least 14 days before a change affects you.
- Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
4. Accessibility and compliance
Openwise helps make websites easier to use for people with disabilities and shows you accessibility issues to fix. No tool, including Openwise, can guarantee that a website is fully compliant with the ADA, WCAG, the European Accessibility Act, India's RPwD Act or any other law. Compliance also depends on your website's own code and content, which remain your responsibility.
5. Availability
We work to keep the Service running at all times, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. The widget is designed so that if our servers are unreachable, your website keeps working normally.
6. Your content and data
You own your websites and content. You give us permission to process the data needed to run the Service, as described in our privacy policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Ending the agreement
You can delete your websites or stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email us. We may end or suspend the Service for accounts that break these terms.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; we will show the new date at the top and email you about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
